Frequently Asked Questions

SHIPPING

How is shipping calculated?

Shipping is calculated based on each item's weight and reflects the actual cost of shipping. Thanks to national retailers we are accustomed to getting free shipping - however as a small business we can't afford to subsidize shipping costs, and we would rather not hide the costs in our product prices.

Can I pick up locally to save on postage?

Sorry, not at this time. We would love to meet you though! We would love to see you at an Art Show in the future!

How quickly can you ship my order?

If you need urgent delivery of an order, please reach out in advance to see if it's possible. In general we ship all orders as quickly as we can make it to the shipping office. Your purchase normally makes it into the UPS/FedEx/USPS office by the evening of the following day.

My country does not work as a ship to location. Do you ship to my country (outside of the US)?

Please write us and let us know. We are trying to cover as many countries as we can but recognize that we may have missed adding countries that may be interested in our products.

How will my order be packaged?

Ceramics are fragile and need a substantial amount of packaging to keep them safe in transit. Depending on the item (or items) your purchase may be wrapped in bubble wrap and then packed with packing peanuts inside a strong cardboard shipping box.

POLICIES

Do you offer gift certificates?

We don't offer gift certificates as of right now but may in the future.

Do you offer returns or exchanges?

All sales are final. However if your piece arrives damaged, please let us know immediately so that we can seek reimbursement from the shipper and refund your order. (Please take a photo of the damaged item so we can provide it to the shipper.)

PRODUCT CARE

How do I take care of my ceramics?

Unless stated otherwise, items are food safe and can be hand-washed. We recommend avoiding the microwave and dishwasher.

Raku pieces are not food safe and should also not be used for the containment of any liquid as the clay does not become fully vitrified (water-impermeable) when fired in this way. Raku pieces are best enjoyed decoratively.
